Giving a go on high repetition training for squat. The goal was to hit 30 reps and I reckon Im able to do it next week.
Why high repetition training ?
Quadriceps are composed mainly of type 2a muscle fibers, which are more aerobic than type 2b fibers and therefore respond better to higher reps. To keep the muscles guessing, mixing high reps and low reps, either in the same or different workouts, is a great way to stimulate muscle growth and prevent boredom
